On the Labin – Rijeka road is the Dubrova Sculpture Park, located on a 17th-century Baroque country estate. From Labin the route leads via Vinež to Kršan, and at Vozilići it continues along the D66 road towards the fortified town of Plomin on a hill above Plomin Bay. At the turn-off for the Brestova ferry port, EuroVelo 8 stays on the D66 and follows the Kvarner coast, with views of the island of Cres. Through Brseč, perched on a cliff above the sea, and Mošćenička Draga the route reaches Lovran, Ika and Ičići. Opatija, with its parks, villas and the Lungomare seafront promenade, is considered the cradle of Croatian tourism. Via Volosko the route enters Rijeka, the third largest city in Croatia and its largest port, from where EuroVelo 8 continues along the Croatian coast.
