EuroVelo 9 – the Baltic – Adriatic Route is part of the European network of long-distance cycle routes and links Gdańsk on the Baltic with Pula on the Adriatic. Its section through Istria is 141 km long and runs through the interior: from the Slovenian border at Plovanija via Buje, Grožnjan, Buzet and Pazin, then on via Barban and Vodnjan to Pula, where it ends.
