The Tour of Croatia, world professional cycling race passes through the attractive route along the Adriatic coast, through Istria and the Croatian hinterland and covers a total distance of 1200 km. 20 teams and 160 cyclists from various countries around the world take part, who will demonstrate their speed and resistance in five race stages.

World cycling elite will start their race in Osijek, and finish it in the capital. 23 April is an especially important date for the Northwest Istria. This is when the fifth race stage from Poreč to Umag takes place.
