be close to the greatest! Take part at the anniversary bicycle race Ol Istria MTB Tour - Parenzana Cannondale 2010 which for the 14th time in a row with its specific formula (tourism + professional race) attracts numerous home and foreign cyclists, coming from all over Europe.

Classified with medium difficulty, the race is included in the calendar of the World Bicycle Federation (UCI) in the category 1, and considering the fact that there will be assigned world points, it is attended an exciting race and an intense competition. The race is going to take place on September 2010 the 24th, 25th and 26th. The trail will pass through the legendary route of the Parenzana, the former narrow-gauge railway line which deeply penetrates into the Istrian peninsula and from Poreč to Trieste connects 33 Istrian cities, which today are located on the territory of even three states. Passing through magnificent rolling landscapes and lively Istrian vineyards, once it was named as the railway of the wine. Nevertheless it was out of use for a long time, a program of tourist valorisation of the Parenzana has been promoted 12 years ago, with the result that today this track has turned into one famous and recognizable bicycle marathon.

The particular interest by the media from all across Europe and the intense promotion of the competition just confirm our efforts, and Istria in that way becomes ever more recognizable as destination in the world of MTB.
