Dangerous roads and alternative routes

Dear cyclists, traffic in Istria, especially during the summer months, is very intense on coastal roads as well as on some roads in the peninsula interior. For your safety, we have marked these roads with a red line and offer instead, safer, alternative routes marked with green lines.

We invite you to avoid the red roads during your bike rides and use the green ones as often as possible as well as the other less frequented traffic roads. The guidelines described are not the only ones, but to cut a long story short - just take care of yourselves and those around you and you are sure to have fun in Istria.
