Itinerary description:

Castles and stories about knights and witches await you on the cycling trail starting and finishing in Svetvinčenat or Savičenta. The story about an unfortunate witch called Mare has been revived in a virtual walk and you can even try to defend the castle from an invasion of uninvited knights. The trail also reveals the wooden castle of St. Michael built from spruce where you can explore some of the dark secrets of medieval times and discover a number of torture devices, a dungeon for witches and even a suitcase for 'disobedient' children!Besides its turbulent history, the area around Svetvinčenat is also known for its unmistakable ponds so that your trail passes by one of those in Krančići. Besides the olive groves and vineyards you will also ride along roads ornamented with some lovely chapels.
