Rules of the trail
Cycling is a pleasant and physically useful activity which offers a maximal joy to all of its users while they move through the open air. To assure you a pleasant and safe ride, it is necessary to observe some basic rules.

    1. Ride on open trails only
Respect trail and road closures (ask if not sure), avoid possible tresspass on private land.

    2. Leave no trace
Be sensitive to the dirt beneath you. Practice low-impact cycling. Stay on existing trails, don't create new ones. Don't cut switchbacks.

    3. Control your bicycle!
Inattention for even a second can cause problems. Obey all bicycle speed regulations and recommendations.

    4. Always yeild trail
Make known your approach well in advance. A friendly greeting or bell is considerate and works well; don't startle others.

    5. Never spook animals
All animals are startled by an unannounced approach, a sudden movement or a loud noise. This can be dangerous! Running cattle and disturbing wildlife is a serious offense.

    6. Plan ahed
Know your equipment, your ability; and the area in wich you are riding - and prepare accordingly. Be self-sufficient at all times. Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear.

The described basics are not the only ones. In one word, be good to yourself and to the others and you'll have a good time.

We wish you a nice ride!
