Competition type:
Three-days XC race (Friday-Sunday).
Touristic MTB ride on Saturday (Tinjan) and Sunday (Lanterna).

Authorized categories:
Elite (and U23), Women, Sport, Master 1 (1980–1971), Master 2 (1970-1961), Master 3 (<1960), Hobby-tourist, Juniors, U17 (1994.-1995.)

Starts:

Friday, May 7th - 29 km / 325 m total climb, START in Lanterna (hotel Valamar Club Tamaris) at 16:00h

Saturday, May 8th, START in Tinjan at 11:00h
- Small - 50 km / 940 m total climb
- Classic - 65 km / 1.150 m total climb
- touristic MTB ride (for families and kids), cca 25 km, START at 10:30h

Sunday, May 9th - 45 km / 630 m total climb, START in Lanterna (hotel Valamar Club Tamaris) at 10:30h
- touristic MTB ride (for families and kids), cca 25 km, START at 10:00h


Early registration and start fee - until Sunday, April 11th 2010. at 23:59h - 35 Euro
Registration and start fee - from Monday, April 12th 2010. until Friday, April 30th 2010. at 23:59h - 40 Euro
Late registration and start fee - from Saturday, May 1st 2010 - 45 Euro

Registration and start fee - FOR NON-LICENSED RIDERS:
Non-licensed riders (without UCI or UDACE licence) will be permitted to participate only if registered until Monday, May 3rd 2010 at 23:59h!
For this type of registration please use our standard web-form but with additional data: unique personal ID number or/and number of the personal identification card or/and full address of residence (home).
At the moment of registration and assigning a race-number, besides the usual start fee, you'll have to add additional 50 kuna to cover the expenses of issuing a one-time license and insurance.

NEW: UDACE licenses will be accepted as valid - for categories Sport and Hobby-tourist; there is no need to issue 5-days license.

Number assignment:
- on Friday, May 7th from 10:00 till 14:00h in hotel Valamar Club Tamaris

Entry fee includes:
The signposted course; professional timing; mechanical help in the start area; medical assistance; free parking; food stops along the course; rich prizes; pasta party; online results; bike washing at the finish.

Timing:
The race is timed by "Adriatic Timing" with a transponder chip. The participants will get one with their start number (couple of categories), including installation on their bikes (info-point in hotel Valamar Club Tamaris in Lanterna).
Chips can be returned on Sunday, May 9th, after the stage, at the timing or commisaire's desk.

Prizes:
Overall prize purse: 2.500 Euros in cash, practical prizes in a value of 5.000 Euros.
Medals and cups will be awarded to the best riders, too.
Hotel company Valamar d.d. Poreč will grant the best competitors and their partners with an accomodation in total of 5 weekends and 2 seven-days accomodation in its hotels and appartments.

Prize giving ceremonies:
- Sunday, May 9th 2010 in Lanterna (hotel Valamar Club Tamaris), after the race finish, around 13:00h

President of the Commissaires Panel: Mladen Durlen

General rules:
The event applies the mountain bike technical rules of the HBS - Croatian Cycling Union, the UCI International Mountain Bike Regulations and the general regulations of the UCI. The organizer will not be held accountable for civil and legal responsibilities of the competitors towards third parties. The event will take place regardless the weather conditions.
The Organiser keeps right to change any race regulation without prior notice.

Complaints:
According to the book of regulations by placing the deposit of 200 kn.
For a complaint for the in-race period deadline is 15 minutes after the finish.
For a complaint regarding the results deadline is 15 minutes after results have been posted (published by a President of the Commissaires panel).

Additional information
a) The organizer will prepare the course and ensure all the other requirements until:
- Friday, 7th: 18:00 h
- Saturday, 8th: 14:00 h
- Sunday, 9th: 13:30 h.
All participants that don't finish the race until that time will be excluded from the final classification list, as well as without risk coverage, meaning thay will be driving on their own responsibility, and without refreshment-points waiting. Anyway, the signage along the course will be left for some time longer.

b) The participants can be excluded from the race following decision of the commisaires or the organizer if behind the leading rider over the maximum time allowed.
Sunday, 9th: The participants reaching the control point on the bridge Mirna (below Srbani) in the second passage, after 13:00h, will be excluded from the race as under a).
c) Feed-zones:
Saturday
1st - 22. km
2nd - 43. km
3rd - 55. km
+ finish line

Sunday
1st - on the top of the climb from Mirna to Srbani (cca 17. km)
2nd - bridge Mirna (2nd pass) (cca 40. km)
+ finish line

All feed-zones will be technical zones, too.
