Registration and start fee - FOR NON-LICENSED RIDERS:
Non-licensed riders (according to a decision of Croatian cycling union for the year 2008.) on an official race on the official calendar of HBS, will be permitted to participate only if registered until Friday, May 2nd until 12 o'clock. For this type of registration please use our standard web-form but
with additional data: unique personal ID number or/and number of the personal identification card or/and full address of residence (home).
At the moment of registration and assigning a race-number, besides the usual start fee, you'll have to add additional 50 kuna to cover the expenses of issuing a one-day license and insurance.
Recreational bike-ride „Biciklom kroz Poreštinu“ – 40,00 kuna
Numbers' assignment:
On Saturday the 3rd of May 2008 from 3 PM till 7 PM at the Valamar Club Tamaris**** - hotel & apartments, in Lanterna,
On Sunday the 4th of May 2008 from 7.30 AM till 9 AM at the start&finish line, in Poreč (Peškera bay)
Entry fee includes:
Race number holder; professional timing; mechanical help in the start area; medical assistance; free parking; food stops along the course; prize total of € 3.500; pasta party; online results; bike washing at the finish; race pack for every entrant; free entry into the various activities; male and female showers, shuttle service for bikers (broom service)
Prizes:
Overall prize purse: 1.900 € cash. Prizes are defined according to the HBS regulations relative to minimal cash prizes. Practical prizes (total value: 1.600 €) will be awarded to riders in all categories.
The first three riders in each category will receive medals; the winner in category Elite/U23 and Woman Elite/U23 will receive a trophy.

On Sunday the 4th of May 2008 from 3:30 PM at the finish lane in Poreč (Peškera bay)
Catering:
There are refreshment stations every 20-25 km. En route there will be bananas, apples, strudels and donuts (domestic cakes), isotonic drinks and water. Self supply may only be given at the assistance points marked in the course plan.
Lockers / Showers:
Locker rooms and showers are available at the local sport center "Palestra" for the the whole day and free of charge.

General rules:
The event applies the mountain bike technical rules of the Croatian Biking Union, the UCI International Mountain Bike Regulations and the general regulations of the UCI. The organizer will not be held accountable for civil and legal responsibilities of the competitors towards third parties. The event will take place regardless the weather conditions.

For a complaint for the in-race period deadline is 15 minutes after the finish.
For a complaint regarding the results deadline is 15 minutes after results have been posted (published by a President of the Commissaires panel).
Additional information:
a) The organizer will prepare the course and ensure all the other requirements until 3 PM. All participants that won’t finish the race until that time will be excluded from the final classification list, as well as without risk coverage, meaning that will be driving on their own responsibility, and without refreshment. Anyway, the signage along the course will be left for some time longer.
b) The participants of the longer race (Classic) reaching the control/refreshment point (50 km) at the bridge, under the uphill to Serbani, in the valley of the river Mirna, more than 4 hours after the start, will be excluded from the final classification list ,as under a). The refreshment at that point will be provided until 3 PM.
