Momian MTB marathon will take place in Momian, at 11 a.m. on November 11, to celebrate the day of the patron saint of Momian, St. Martin.

Since St. Martin is the patron saint of wine makers and wine growers, young wine is baptised on this day in many countries and regions.

The bicycle ride will start at the entrance to Momian, and participation fee is 40 kuna.

Participants will have lunch in a tent in Momjan, and refreshment will be available throughout the trail. A lottery is scheduled after lunch.

TRAIL 1.
Momjan - Sv. Mauro - Smilovići - Krog - Marušići - Kave - Kornarija /lugareva kućica/ - Marušići - Krog - Kortivi - Momjan.

The bike route is 25 km long.

TRAIL 2.
Momjan - Sv Mauro - Smilovići - Krog - Bibali - Triban - Parenzana - Grožnjan - Parenzana - Zubini - Parenzana - Završje - Makovci - Poropati - Kornarija /lugareva kućica/ - Marušići - Momjan.

The bike route is 45 km long.

All participants must wear protective bike helmets, as they participate in the race at their own risk.

Don't forget to visit the Momian region wine roads and enjoy the tasting of premium wines of north-western Istria after the ride.

The bicycle ride is not competitive and everyone who manages to reach the finish line is a winner!
